Preston Hollow Resident Brings “Royal Workout” to Lakewood

Longtime Preston Hollow resident, Elizabeth Lindberg, founder, owner and trainer of Studio 6 Fitness, cuts the ribbon with her team and members of the Greater East Dallas Chamber to open the fourth studio at Arboretum Village on Jan. 22.

We’re not saying Meghan Markle’s workout helped her land an engagement with Prince Harry, but maybe a new studio in Lakewood can give us the 411.

Studio 6 Fitness recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Lakewood neighborhood, bringing a fourth North Dallas studio dedicated to what’s been nicknamed both “the royal workout” and “Pilates on steroids.” Technically, it’s called the Lagree Method.

The 2,975-square-foot Lakewood studio opened with group exercise classes on 14 Megaformers, a training room for private instruction, showers, and a lifestyle boutique offering a selection of high-end fitness and athleisure apparel and unique gifts.

The Lagree Method blends Pilates, strength training, and cardio into a 50-minute session.

“Because of the demand from clients who live and work in East Dallas, we’re expanding to make this incredible workout more convenient for them, as well as anybody else who wants to start out the new year with a new routine,” said Elizabeth Lindberg, founder, owner, and trainer of Studio 6 Fitness. “We have a very diverse clientele of differing ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds. Our studios allow us to adapt and fit within our clients’ busy lifestyles and schedules.”

Created by celebrity trainer, Sebastian Lagree, the Megaformer workout is a high-intensity, low-impact session that has grown into one of the country’s most popular workouts, and is popular among the like of Michelle Obama, Kim Kardashian West, and Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara.

To celebrate its new Lakewood location, Studio 6 is offering a grand opening sale for $139 per month of unlimited classes, which can be used at any of the four locations.

Other North Dallas studios can be found in Plano, Preston Hollow, and The Shops at Park Lane.
