Health Friendly Business Opening in Park Cities
Decades of research by experts show that optimal fat loss requires a “sweet spot” of food and fitness. Late February, Park Cities will have a unique new health-friendly business designed to marry the two.
The scientifically calibrated food and fitness regimen of Utopia Food+Fitness serves up prepared food by local chef Mike Smith, and promises to melt away pounds and inches while only working out 40 minutes a week – that’s 20 minutes twice a week – for six weeks.
Utopia Food+Fitness will open the doors to its first franchise – and fourth location – Feb. 21.
From 5 to 7 p.m., the opening will include a chef’s tasting event where guests can nosh on light bites and meet Smith.
The newest storefront and studio on West Lover Lane will offer the same food pick up and workout options as the current locations in Dallas, Plano, and Southlake.
The modern, 2,025 square-foot space was designed by Staffelbach and Joanie Wyll and will showcase a custom mural designed and painted by local artist Kyle Steed.
Utopia’s first franchisee David Liles has been in the fitness industry for 15 years and knows a thing or two about being crunched for time.
“As a business owner, husband, and father to two kids, I sawUtopia Food+Fitness as an opportunity to help make fitness and healthy eating more convenient and fun,” said Liles. “The rapid growth of Utopia Food & Fitness is a testament to the real results clients have achieved – from weight loss to increased energy and confidence. We look forward to helping clients at our Park Cities location improve their overall fitness and health through thoughtful food options and time-conscious training programs so they can spend more time doing what they love.”
Regular hours of operation will be from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
