Dallas Summer Musical and Broadway Across America are bringing the Tony award-winning Broadway revival of The Color Purple to the Music Hall at Fairpark.

The musical premiers Jan. 23 and will run through Feb. 4.

The Color Purple is the 2016 Tony Award winner for Best Musical Revival. Hailed as “a direct hit to the heart” (The Hollywood Reporter), this joyous American classic about a young woman’s journey to love and triumph in the American South has conquered Broadway in an all-new “ravishingly reconceived production that is a glory to behold” (The New York Times) directed by Tony winner John Doyle.

Single tickets for the Dallas engagement of The Color Purple, starting at $20 (pricing subject to change), are now on sale at DallasSummerMusicals.org or by phone at 1 (800) 745-3000. They can also be purchased in person at the Music Hall at Fair Park Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
