Scots Have Been Stellar Again in Tennis

So far, Highland Park has passed every test in its quest to repeat as Class 5A state team tennis champions.

The Scots (13-0) recent cruised to wins over Class 6A powerhouses Plano West and Allen. And they outscored their previous 11 opponents by a combined 180-10 in terms of head-to-head matches won.

HP will host McKinney North on Friday in its final regular-season match before the opening round of the playoffs on Oct. 6. The state tournament is slated for Nov. 2-3 in College Station.
