Lady Scots Run Well in Flower Mound
Highland Park finished fourth against a strong field in the elite varsity girls division on Saturday at Gerault Park in Flower Mound.
The Lady Scots were led by freshman Sophia Oliai, who placed 12th individually in a time of 19 minutes, 18 seconds. Cameron Fawcett and Maddy Stephens — both with personal best times — also finished in the top 20 among the 82 runners in the race.
HP will return to action on Sept. 23 at Myers Park in McKinney, on the same course where the Lady Scots won a meet earlier this month.
