Highland Park bounced back from its first loss of the season with its most dominating victory on Tuesday night, when the Scots dismantled Keller Central 18-1.

The Scots (6-1) previously fell to McDonogh (Md.) in the last of three games on a road trip to North Carolina earlier this month. But there was no carryover from that loss during HP’s return to Texas.

The Scots will travel to Plano West on Friday before returning home for a matchup against The Woodlands on April 1.

In Division II action, HP warmed up for its Thursday showdown against defending state champion Colleyville Heritage with an 18-3 thumping of Keller Central on Tuesday.

Drew Dodge scored three goals to lead the Scots (8-0), who also got two goals apiece from Harrison Hames, Blake Wills, and Cameron Reeves.
