As the District 15-5A basketball schedule nears the home stretch, perhaps we should start asking the question: Can Highland Park run the table?
As February approaches, it’s a legitimate possibility for both the boys and girls squads, who each remain unbeaten in District 15-5A play.
In boys action, the Scots (17-9, 8-0) scored another impressive victory on Tuesday when they knocked off fellow playoff contender West Mesquite 62-53 on the road. Will Enzor continued his terrific season with a game-high 21 points, while Ethan Nussbaum added 11 points and Alex Staffaroni had 10.
Meanwhile, the Lady Scots (19-7, 10-0) overwhelmed West Mesquite 63-20 after starting the game on a 26-0 run. Mary Margaret Roberts paced HP with 17 points.

Both HP teams will meet Mesquite Poteet on Friday, with the boys at home and the girls on the road.
