Police Reports: Nov. 28-Dec. 4

HIGHLAND PARK

28 MONDAY
At 9:24 a.m., a victim reported three packages stolen containing a $1,299 pair of brown Neiman Marcus boots and $30 of Chicago Cubs memorabilia from the front porch of a house in the 4400 block of Rheims Place sometime between 11 a.m. Nov. 23 and noon Nov. 27.

1 THURSDAY
At 2:38 a.m., David Lee Barron, 43, of Richardson, was arrested in the 4900 block of Preston Road on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Two minutes later, Erwin Gatchalian Montoya, 41, of Dallas, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

At 2:52 p.m., several thieves pretending to be construction workers gained entry to a house in the 3800 block of Mockingbird Lane saying there was a busted water line nearby and they needed to test the faucets in the house to see if there was green dye in the water. They stole $31,300 of jewelry, including three diamond rings, two custom ring bands, and a pair of diamond stud earrings.

2 FRIDAY
Between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., a thief entered a green Mercedes-Benz G550 in the parking lot of Highland Park Village and stole $60 cash.

At 9:38 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint in the 3800 block of Beverly Drive and detained several minors fleeing a house party. One was issued a $271 citation for minor in consumption of alcohol.

After 10:20 p.m., a thief entered a house in the 3500 block of Cornell Avenue and stole two purses containing a credit card, a U.S. passport, and the keys to a black 2010 Audi. The thief then stole the car.

3 SATURDAY
Between 8:45 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9:25 a.m. Dec. 3, a thief entered a house in the 3800 block of Maplewood Avenue, as well as a blue Lexus and a silver Lexus parked in the garage, and stole stock certificates and financial information.

At 3 p.m., Amar Ali, 28, of San Antonio, was arrested in Highland Park Village on a charge of theft.

UNIVERSITY PARK

28 MONDAY
At 2:35 p.m., a victim saw a trespasser run out of an upstairs duplex in the 3400 block of Granada Avenue.

After 9 p.m., a thief stole a $2,000 third row seat from a white 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 4000 block of Marquette Street.

After 10 p.m., a $2,500 tailgate was stolen from a red Ford F350 pickup truck and a $1,200 third row seat and $950 in other parts were stolen from a black 2013 GMC Yukon in the 3200 block of Southwestern Boulevard.

After 10:30 p.m., a burglar stole a $250 sub speaker from a silver 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 3900 block of Southwestern Boulevard.

29 TUESDAY
Between 4 p.m. Nov. 28 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 29, a thief stole a $4,000 Macbook Pro, $4,000 cash, and $300 Maui Jims from a black 2016 Cadillac Escalade in the 2700 block of Hanover Street.

Between 8 p.m. Nov. 28 and 11 a.m. Nov. 29, a thief stole a $1,500 third row seat and $240 in center caps from a black 2008 Cadillac Escalade in the 4400 block of McFarlin Boulevard.

Between 10 p.m. Nov. 28 and 11 a.m. Nov. 29, a thief stole a $300 third row seat from a black 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 3900 block of Colgate Avenue.

Between 10 a.m. Nov. 28 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 29, a thief stole a $1,500 third row seat from a white 2011 GMC Yukon in the 3000 block of Rosedale Lane.

At 3:47 p.m., a driver in a black 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 7800 block of Preston Road.

30 WEDNESDAY
Between 10 a.m. Nov. 28 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 30, a thief stole a $1,500 third row seat from a white 2011 GMC Yukon in the 4400 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.

Between 9 p.m. Nov. 29 and noon Nov. 30, a thief stole a $900 Smith & Wesson and $4,000 Swarovski binoculars from a silver 2013 GMC Denali in the 3800 block of Colgate Avenue.

At 11:52 p.m., Nancy Moramay Parrish, 22, of Dallas, was arrested in the 4200 block of Lovers Lane on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

1 THURSDAY
Between 8 a.m. Nov. 30 and noon Dec. 1, a victim received a letter containing a terroristic threat in the 2900 block of Milton Avenue.

2 FRIDAY
At 2:30 a.m., Kyle J. Heeke, 31, of Kearny, was arrested in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug.

Between 8 a.m. Nov. 1 and 10 a.m. Dec. 2, a thief stole a $230 ladder from a garage in the 4300 block of Glenwick Lane.

At 5:08 p.m., a burglar broke into a 2009 Chevrolet pickup in the 2700 block of Fondren Drive.

3 SATURDAY
At 11:33 p.m., a minor was caught driving under the influence of alcohol in the 3000 block of Stanford Lane.
