Pregame for Football with HPHS Choir
Friday night football starts early on Oct. 28 with a Fiesta Dinner and Fundraiser hosted by the Highland Park High School choir and catered by Blue Mesa Grill.
Dinner will be served from 5-7 in the HPHS cafeteria with music to enjoy and raffle prizes up for grabs. Everyone can head to the game after and hear the Lads and Lassies sing the national anthem before kickoff.
Choir members will also hand-deliver take-out orders to your car from 4:30-6 p.m. in the school parking lot south of the stadium on Douglas Ave.
The choir is one of the oldest and largest student organizations in the school district. The Fiesta Dinner, which is held annually, is their only fundraiser. Proceeds will support the choir’s expenses for the year, including scholarships, choral music, concert expenses, and District, Regional, and UIL-level competitions.
Baskets full of goodies will be raffled off, each one with a different musical theme (“She’s a Lady,” “Let’s Hear it for the Boy,” “I’m Coming Home,” and “Music of the Night”).
The grand prize raffle item is a 70th anniversary limited edition Vespa Primavera 50.
Advanced tickets are on sale now; contact a member of any of the many HPHS choirs to buy tickets or make a donation. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
