Get on Track for the Trains at NorthPark
While Christmas is technically months away, that doesn’t mean the season won’t creep up on us. One steadfast Dallas tradition for the holidays is the Trains at NorthPark.
Those wishing to be a part of the spectacle can purchase a hand-painted custom railcar to display in the Trains at NorthPark, which benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Each car can be personalized with the names of individuals, families, and organizations, and will travel along a stretch of the 1,600 feet of tracks that venture through recreations of American and Texan landmarks.
Those who wish to have a railcar on display on opening day must purchase one by Oct. 14.
Pricing information:
- Standard railcar – $175
- Caboose – $225
- 2016 limited edition observation car – $275
- Engine – $325
Pulling into NorthPark for its 29th year, the Trains at NorthPark has raised more than $13 million for families to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
Still want to contribute without purchasing your own car? Sponsorship and volunteer information can be found on the Trains at NorthPark website, or by emailing Bailey Kafer.
The trains will arrive for the public to view at 10 a.m. Nov. 19 and will chug along through Jan. 8.
