HP Continues Solid Run in Cross Country

The Highland Park cross country teams will travel to the Lovejoy Fall Festival on Saturday in McKinney. — The Highland Park cross country teams will continue their seasons at the Lovejoy Fall Festival on Saturday in McKinney.

The Highland Park boys placed sixth and the Cedar Park Invitational cross country meet on Saturday, led by Logan Gwinn with a time of 17 minutes, 22 seconds on the 5-kilometer course.

Other runners for the Scots included Jack Alessio, Noah Culpepper, Cameron Hoglund, Matthew Meletio, John Moss, Charlie Philbin, and Trevor Schillaci.

On the girls side, HP was fifth in the team standings at the Flower Mound Invitational in Denton. Grace Beitter finished in 18^th place individually to pace the Lady Scots. The team also included Olivia Scott, Emma Parker, Alex Davey, Sydney Cox, Amy Li, and Jordyn Kaplan.

Both the boys and girls teams will compete on Saturday at the Lovejoy Fell Festival in McKinney.
