Bulladora Brings New Music to Dallas

daft-punk-unchained-poster-2-395x575The first Bulladora Music Experience will kick off the summer with new sounds from around the world ranging from experimental rock to electronic pop at Reverchon Park June 3-5.

Co-founders Josh Harris and Zac Miller got the idea for Bulladora after moving to Dallas in 2012 and experiencing an abundance of growth and creativity in the area. They felt the need for a unique event to celebrate it all.

The three-day festival will kick off with a free screening of Daft Punk Unchained, a film covering the career of the electronic, pop, and funk music duo from France. Saturday and Sunday’s lineups will commence at 12:30 p.m. with some of this year’s up-and-coming artists such as Yeasayer, an experimental rock group from Brooklyn and AlunaGeorge, an electronic music duo from London. The last performances will start at 8:30 p.m. both days.

The event will feature hot air balloon rides, yoga, face painting, and other attractions. There will also be a pug-petting zoo in honor of the mythological story of a pug that ruled over a land called Bulladora, the festival’s namesake.

Single-day passes will be available for $49 and two-day passes will be $99.

Tickets and information on post-festival events are available on the Bulladora website.
