We live in a new age PC People. The Town of Highland Park has taken to Twitter. It’s been a few months since they started tweeting, but we realize we never really acknowledged the milestone.
I followed up about the leak with town spokesperson Lance Koppa, who said the source of the “significant” spillage was a six-inch pipe. A crew sprang into action and removed and replaced the damage pipe. Koppa said temporary repairs have been made to the alley’s surface.
The emergency repair on the water line required about 4 hours to complete. Water was fully restored in area of 4600 Belclaire at 1:00 a.m.
