Lauren Anderson Eagle and Weston Scott Bender were married March 5, 2016 at the Avalon Hotel, Regency Courtyard in Palm Springs, Calif. The Rev. Kevin Westergren, from the groom’s home church in Austin, Texas, officiated the ceremony. A string trio provided music for the service and for the cocktail reception that followed. Afterwards, family and friends enjoyed a sit-down dinner on the Presidio Courtyard lawn and when the guests were finished, the ballroom doors opened for a night of dancing. The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Spencer’s Restaurant on the eve of the wedding. This included a romantic dinner party with stunning views from the cliffside lawn nestled in the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains.
