Scots Carry Winning Streak Into Playoffs
Highland Park will head into the Texas High School Lacrosse League playoffs with a perfect record against teams from the Lone Star State.
The Scots (15-1) stretched their winning streak to 12 games with a 12-9 victory over St. Mark’s on Friday in the regular-season finale.
HP, which won a state title last year, will try to defend its crown beginning May 8 against an opponent to be determined in Round Rock.
As the top team from the North region, the Scots have a bye to the state semifinals. The state tournament will be May 14-15 in Allen.
