Mesopotamia Day at Providence
Providence class five students took their wardrobe back in time to celebrate Mesopotamia day on March 30.
To celebrate the cultures they studied in history, the kids participated in themed activities, such as Egyptian bing, a mummy race, making mosaics, and building the Tower of Babel out of cereal boxes. They also competed in the Providence Olympics, which included chariot races, throwing the discus and javelin, and a “dress like a Roman” relay.
