District No Match for Powerhouse Scots
Highland Park extended its winning streak to 15 games and continued its domination of District 10-6A with a 4-0 win at Richardson on Tuesday.
The Scots (18-5, 7-0) wrapped up the first half of the 10-6A schedule with three consecutive shutouts, and have outscored their league opponents by a combined 48-6. HP already has a three-game lead over a logjam in the middle of the district pack.
William Adair and Grant Howell have been the top pitchers for the Scots, who will travel to face North Mesquite today at Copeland Field, then return home on April 12 against Richardson Pearce.
