Lady Scots Head to Texas Relays
The Highland Park girls will send 12 athletes to the prestigious Texas Relays this weekend in Austin. All of them will participate in distance relays except Falyn Reaugh, who will compete individually in the high jump and triple jump.
Reaugh led the Lady Scots took the team title at the Midway Relays on March 24 in Waco by winning both of those events and taking second in the long jump. She also was part of a winning quartet in the 4×400 relay.
Also at the Midway meet, Edie Terrell won the pole vault and Grace Beitter was the runner-up in the 800. Bronze medalists included Emma Parker (3,200), Ella Brown (pole vault), Maddy Stephens (800), Grace Watts (300 hurdles), and Olivia Scott (1,600).
