Hosch, Scots Win 10-6A Title
Highland Park easily won the team title at the District 10-6A boys golf tournament on Wednesday at Mesquite Golf Club. The Scots topped runner-up Richardson Pearce by 20 strokes.
Turner Hosch shot an even-par round of 72 on the final day to win the individual district title. James Thompson was third for the Scots and Cash Carter placed fifth. Both competed for the Blue squad. The HP Gold team was third overall, led by a sixth-place finish from Preston Petty.
The entire Blue team qualified for the Class 6A Region II meet starting April 11 in Waco, while Petty will compete as an individual qualifier.
