Nominate a Philanthropist in Your Community
Presbyterian Communities and Services Foundation will hold its 7th annual Each Moment Matters Luncheon in October, to be co-chaired by Barbara Hunt Crow and Lucy Johnson.
In addition to benefiting Faith Presbyterian Hospice’s Caring Fund, the luncheon will honor local individuals who have shown devotion to their community and to being an agent of change within it.
The organization is requesting nominations for honorees who have served their community through generosity of time and financial resources; empowerment and education; personal and professional integrity; and quiet, often anonymous, leadership and dedication.
Posthumous nominations are welcome.

The luncheon will benefit Faith Presbyterian Hospice’s Caring Fund, which financially supports end-of-life services for terminally ill patients, of any faith, who have exhausted their financial means. It also offers patients and their families bereavement services and highly specialized children’s grief therapy.
Godwin Dixon, president and CEO of PC&S Foundation and executive vice chairman of the PC&S board, said, the event attracts “close to 1,000 guests and last year’s event garnered over $650,000.”
