Ring in Spring with The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy’s annual Dallas Spring Party will be held at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens on April 15 at 6 p.m. This year’s event, A Brush with Nature: Alex Beard’s Adventures in Art, Travel, and Conservation will feature the man himself, Alex Beard as keynote speaker.

Born in New York City in 1970, Beard was surrounded by fascinating personalities at a young age: his mother, Patricia Beard, an accomplished author and magazine editor, and his uncle Peter Beard, acclaimed wildlife photographer and conservationist.

Beard has emerged as a painter, illustrator, filmmaker, animal conservationist, and best-selling author. He will share his tales of art, travel and conservation at the Dallas Spring Party.

The event will include a cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner with the mistress of ceremonies Laura Huffman, Director of The Nature Conservancy in Texas and with honorary chairs, Jane and Pat Bolin, longtime supporters of The Nature Conservancy.

Tickets are $300 each and can be purchased at The Nature Conservancy.
