Cookie-Box Architects to Create at Galleria
Galleria shoppers beware, there will be more gaggles of girls underfoot this weekend than normal for the annual Girl Scouts of North Texas Cookie Box Creations competition.
Scouts will be pairing up with local female architects and engineers to craft free-standing structures from empty Girl Scout cookie boxes on March 13. This year’s theme is “Explore the Outdoors.”
Designs will be judged on March 14 for their creativity, engineering difficulty, and use of color and materials. The public can vote on a people’s choice award winner by scanning QR codes which will accompany the structures.
Both the judges’ choice and people’s choice winners will be announced on April 3 at the Galleria.
