St. Mark’s Editor is a Rising Journalist
When it comes to honors, we in the newsroom are always excited to see budding journalist’s recognized, especially when they’re in our coverage area.
St. Mark’s senior Will Clark has been named the 2016 Texas High School Journalist of the Year by the Texas Association of Journalism Education. He continues the tradition as the fourth consecutive St. Mark’s journalist to earn this honor.
The managing editor of The ReMarker, will represent the state at the national level by participating in the National Scholastic Press Association’s convention in L.A. in April. Clark’s portfolio will be judged, along with the other state-level winners from across the country.
In addition to Clark, The ReMarker’s editor, senior Philip Smart, was named the runner-up for the state title. Yay news!
