1 MONDAY
Between 1:30 and 2 p.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle in a parking garage in the 8300 block of Westchester Drive and stole property.
2 TUESDAY
Between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle in the 9100 block of Clearlake Drive and stole a purse.
Between 2 and 2:30 a.m., a thief stole tables and chairs from the patio of Corner Bakery at Preston Forest Shopping Center.
Between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., a burglar broke into a house in the 4000 block of Valley Ridge Road, crawled into the house through a panel and stole property.
At 6:37 p.m., a vandal damaged a vehicle in the 9300 block of Midway Road.
At 8:55 p.m., a thief stole merchandise from Macy’s in NorthPark Center. Melissa Furstenberg, 37, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
3 WEDNESDAY
At 1:01 p.m., a thief stole merchandise from Neiman Marcus at NorthPark Center, concealing it in a backpack before walking out of the store. Darius Eugene Mino, 26, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
Between 3 and 8:30 p.m., a vandal damaged a vehicle at Nick & Sam’s Grill in the 8100 block of Preston Road.
Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., a thief entered a vehicle in the parking lot of Preston Forest Shopping Center and stole property.
Between 3 and 3:10 p.m., a thief stole merchandise from Gap in NorthPark Center. Robbie Langford McClain, 65, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. The same thing happened between 7 and 7:18 p.m. Sophia Laloine Cole, 53, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
5 FRIDAY
At 8:34 p.m., a scoundrel paid with counterfeit money at the Cheesecake Factory in Lincoln Park Shopping Center.
6 SATURDAY
Between 8 p.m. on Feb. 5 and 3 p.m. on Feb. 6, a thief entered a house in the 5400 block of Neola Drive and stole property.
Between 9 a.m. on Feb. 3 and 5 p.m. on Feb. 6, a thief entered the backyard of a house in the 4300 block of Beechwood Lane and stole property.
