HPISD’s 100th Day of School
Students and teachers of Hyer Elementary celebrated their 100th day of the school year on Feb. 2. Kindergartners rotated through their classrooms to participate in activities involving the number 100 and each student created a shirt that had 100 pieces of a unique material on them.
The second-graders arrived at school dressed as 100-year-old versions of themselves. The students then did a writing lesson describing how they looked and what they think they will be doing when they turn 100 years old.
