Ready, Set, Learn How to Cheer at HP Camp

Does your child have pep? Do they have spirit? Do they need to C-H-E-E-R? On Feb. 6, Highland Park High School cheerleaders will teach cheers, chants, jumps, and a dance routine to aspiring cheerleaders ages 4 to fourth grade at the annual Elizabeth Toon Mini-Camp.

The camp is from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the main gym at HPHS. Campers will perform skills they’ve learned for parents at 4 p.m. Registration closes on Jan. 29. You can register here.

The camp is named in honor of former HP cheerleader Elizabeth Toon, who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in 2006 at age 22.
