Police Report: Dec. 7 to 13

Skulduggery of the week: FRESH SQUEEZED

Between 9 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 10, a burglar broke into a white 2010 Toyota Tundra in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue and stole four NutriBullet blenders, with a combined value of $600. However, the larcenist left behind a fifth blender and a Keurig coffee maker.

HIGHLAND PARK

10 THURSDAY

At 3:12 a.m., Davonte Jamal Mullins, 22, of Dallas was arrested in the 5600 block of Hillcrest Avenue on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and resisting arrest. Varion Rayshunotis Hicks, 20, of Dallas was arrested on a drug possession charge.

Between 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 10, a burglar broke into a white 2008 Ford F-350 in the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenue and stole a $2,500 Glock pistol from the center console, along with a leather case. During the same time frame, a miscreant stole a drawstring backpack containing a high school soccer uniform and a pair of Nike soccer shoes from an unlocked blue 2010 BMW sedan in the 4300 block of Edmondson.

12 SATURDAY

At 12:05 p.m., Mark Clinton Lehew, 47, of Dallas was arrested in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive on a theft charge.

13 SUNDAY

At 1:23 a.m., Morgan Esther Gill, 26, of Richardson was arrested in the 5300 block of Sewanee Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Between 9 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 13, a burglar broke into a black 2007 Cadillac Escalade in the 3400 block of Potomac Avenue and stole the third-row seats.

At 11:40 p.m., Robert Byron Banes, 42, of Dallas was arrested at the intersection of Preston Road and Armstrong Parkway on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

UNIVERSITY PARK

7 MONDAY

At 3:28 p.m., a resident of the 3100 block of Rosedale Avenue reported the theft of an $80 duffel bag left in the trunk of a taxicab whose driver never returned it. The bag contained a $15,000 Rolex watch and $3,000 worth of Ralph Lauren clothing.

8 TUESDAY

Between 8 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 7:59 a.m. on Dec. 8, a burglar broke into a silver 2007 Chevrolet Silverado in the 3900 block of Stanford Avenue and stole the third-row seat. During the same time frame, a burglar broke into a black 2012 Cadillac Escalade in the 3300 block of Greenbrier Drive, but it’s unclear if anything was stolen.

At 3:15 p.m., a resident of the 3600 block of Hanover Street reported the theft of $1,600 worth of jewelry, including a pearl necklace and pearl earrings, on Oct. 26.

Between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., a burglar broke into a house in the 3800 block of Northwest Parkway and stole $190 in cash.

9 WEDNESDAY

At 5:04 p.m., a resident of the 3600 block of Asbury Avenue reported the theft of a $1,500 leaf blower and $800 worth of jewelry on Nov. 23. The larcenist later pawned the items.

10 THURSDAY

At 11:05 a.m., someone reported the theft of an unlocked $800 Cannondale boys bicycle at Highland Park Middle School between 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 4.

11 FRIDAY

At 12:20 p.m., a shoplifter stole two jackets and three pairs of pants from Luke’s Locker at Park Cities Plaza. The merchandise is valued at $230.

12 SATURDAY

Between 11 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 12, a burglar broke into a black 2014 Range Rover in the 3500 block of Bryn Mawr Drive and stole a $200 briefcase.

13 SUNDAY

Between 3 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 5 p.m. on Dec. 13, a burglar broke into a house in the 4200 block of Hanover Street and stole a safe containing $508,505 worth of jewelry and $5,000 in cash.
