The student council at St. Mark’s School of Texas led a hairy fundraiser during the month of November in support of the American Cancer Society.
As a part of No Shave November, upper school students who purchased wristbands and socks were excused from the facial hair dress code policy. However, students weren’t the only ones seen sporting some stubble throughout the month. Teachers also participated in the fundraising effort.
The month-long event, which focused on the importance of taking care of health issues before they become serious, raised around $2,000.
