Steer Clear of Preston During December
Those of you who regularly drive on Preston Road through the heart of Preston Hollow know the traffic headaches are bad enough on a daily basis.
Now the situation has gotten worse, just in time for the holidays, thanks to a long-delayed TxDOT concrete and overlay project.
There will be at least one northbound lane closed continuously on Preston between Northwest Highway and Royal Lane until at least Dec. 20. And a second lane will be blocked most days between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Seeking an alternate route would be the wisest course of action. But otherwise, please be patient with your fellow motorists.
