Highland Park won its season opener in dramatic fashion on Tuesday night, as Andrew Enzor’s 3-pointer at the buzzer gave the Scots a 58-57 win over South Oak Cliff at Ellis Davis Field House.

Stefon Jauregui scored 21 points to pace the Scots, while Pete Davis added 14 points. Ben Reichert contributed 10 rebounds and eight blocks in the paint.

HP doesn’t have much time to celebrate, however, as the annual Scot Classic tournament begins on Thursday night. The Scots will open round-robin play against Midlothian at 7:30 p.m.
