Town North Y Runs the Turkey Tune-Up
You’ve heard of the Turkey Trot that the YMCA of Greater Dallas sponsors each Thanksgiving? OK, but how about the Turkey Tune-Up?
That appropriately named race is happening on Sunday at Town North YMCA to put you in the mood for holiday fitness. The 5K run starts at 8:30 a.m., following a fun run. Awards will follow.
Cost is $30 for the 5K and $10 for the fun run, with proceeds benefiting the Town North YMCA Endowment. But you need to hurry, because registration ends on Friday night. You can find all the pertinent registration information here, but you’ll have to get in shape on your own.
