Going into the playoffs, Highland Park is killing it. The Lady Scots capped an unbeaten run through District 10-6A on Tuesday with a sweep of rival Richardson Pearce.

Now the attention for the Lady Scots (39-6, 14-0) turns to the postseason, where they will face Skyline — the fourth-place team from 9-6A — in a Class 6A Region II bi-district match at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Ellis Davis Field House in Dallas.

The Pearce match included a thrilling second set in which HP trailed 24-14 before fending off 10 set points on the serve of Greer Gordon.

If the Lady Scots win on Tuesday, they will face Rockwall, Sachse, or Killeen Ellison in the area round. Rockwall and Sachse will hold a tiebreaker match tonight for the top seed in District 11-6A. The loser will face Ellison in the first round.
