take turns testing the white Vespa that will be raffled by Highland Park High School’s combined choirs on Friday night.

The Highland Park High School choir program will tame growling stomachs with its annual “neighborhood fiesta” prior to Friday’s game between HP and Mesquite at Highlander Stadium.

The fundraiser dinner will be catered by Cantina Laredo at the HPHS cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m., with a takeout option available from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the north side of the school. Tickets are $10 each.

There also will be multiple raffles for prizes including a Vespa (tickets at $25 each) and various themed gift baskets (tickets at $5 each). Proceeds will support choir activities throughout the school year. For more information, contact event co-chairs Michelle DeJean or Brandi Sarfatis.
