Virginia Cook Honors Realtor Volunteerism
Mark Pinkston has been named as the recipient of the “Hearts At Work” award by Virginia Cook Realtors for his volunteer service.
The realtor, who lives near White Rock Lake, is a longtime member of For Love of the Lake, which has partnered with the city of Dallas to fund significant improvements to park area surrounding White Rock. He has been involved in everything from fundraising to park clean-up projects.
“I live near, cycle, and sail White Rock Lake, so it is an extension of my neighborhood,” Pinkston said. “I believe I have an obligation to help restore and maintain the balance of nature here.”
The company also honored agents Arden Fitzgerald and Kathleen Schiele. Fitzgerald is a cyclist and Preston Hollow resident who has worked to build community activities along the Northaven Trail. Schiele has worked with the Cuddles Program at Medical City Children’s Hospital.
