DFW Solar Tour Highlights PH Home

Sunshine doesn’t just mean fun times. To many people, it also means energy. And the 2015 DFW Solar Tour intends to demonstrate just that. This free, one-day event will feature one of Preston Hollow’s very own: Frank McGovern.
McGovern, president of Clearview Energy and Solarview, will showcase his home’s custom solar system, including a Model S Tesla in the driveway.
The DFW Solar Tour allows people to learn how other homeowners and businesses utilize solar and wind energies, and sustainable technologies to reduce the amount of natural resources used. And teach people how to save some money along the way. Along with McGovern’s home, the tour includes select innovative homes and buildings throughout the DFW area.
The tour will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about the different locations available on the tour, click here.
