Get Tough at the John Wayne Film Festival
Celebrating the big-screen legacy of The Duke and contribute to a good cause this weekend as the John Wayne Film Festival rolls back into town.
Proceeds from the four-day festival benefit the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, and it also includes an online auction of memorabilia. Plus, of course, there’s a nice mix of rare cinematic showings of some of Wayne’s rare films in addition to the classics, split between the Highland Park Village Theatre and Look Cinemas in Addison.
Several of Wayne’s family members will be on hand throughout the weekend. The festival chairs are Randall and Kara Goss, with Steve and Anne Stodghill serving as honorary chairs.
You can find a complete festival schedule after the jump, and you can buy tickets here or at the theaters.
