Highland Park ISD has named Kimberly Bain as its new talented and gifted English language arts coordinator.

She comes to HP from Lewisville ISD, where she was the strategic design coach for two years and the K-5 talented and gifted facilitator for six years before that. She also taught in the classroom for seven years in Carrollton and Jenks, Okla.

“[Bain’s] enthusiasm is contagious, and she clearly puts students first in her decision making,” said Gena Gardiner, HPISD assistant superintendent for curriculum of instruction and special programs.

Bain is a graduate of Texas A&M and the UT-Arlington for her master’s degree. She also holds principal certification. She and her husband live in Highland Village.
