NPPC Ministry Hosts Brain Health Event
Through its Casa de Vida ministry, NorthPark Presbyterian Church will present a free program on Wednesday aimed at families dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Dr. Diana Kerwin, chief of geriatrics at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, will discuss the connection between lifestyle and brain health, and will provide tips for maintaining a healthy brain.
Casa de Vida is a weekly day program at the church for people with early to mid-stage dementia, including Alzheimer’s. Wednesday’s event begins at 6 p.m. and will include refreshments. You can register online here or by calling 214-363-5457.
