PCYMCA Youngsters Bring ‘Pippin’ to Stage
Aspiring thespians from the Park Cities YMCA will take their turn with one of Broadway’s biggest hits on Saturday.
The Dallas Summer Musicals Academy of Performing Arts will perform “Pippin” at the Dallas Children’s Theatre, with showtimes at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
The show will feature performances from students 10 and up who have spent the last three weeks in rehearsals as part of an intensive musical theater workshop.
DSM just concluded a two-week run of “Pippin,” which won multiple Tony Awards in 2013.
