The new public-records system of the Dallas Police Department still prevents us from sharing as much information about neighborhood incidents as we did in the past, but we’ve provided as many details as possible. DALLAS
29 MONDAY
Between noon and 4:20 p.m., a thief stole a vehicle from the parking lot at NorthPark Center.
30 TUESDAY
At 8:52 a.m., a vandal damaged a vehicle at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Sherwood Forest Drive.
Between 9:35 and 11:02 a.m., a thief stole a vehicle from a townhome complex in the 6100 block of Bandera Avenue.
1 WEDNESDAY
At 4:27 a.m., a robber with a ski mask stole $125 and a checkbook at gunpoint from a man preparing to deliver newspapers in the 4400 block of College Park Drive. The gunman and an accomplice fled eastbound on Northaven Road in a blue Nissan Sentra.
Between 9 p.m. on June 30 and 7 a.m. on July 1, a thief stole property from a vehicle in the 7100 block of Mimosa Lane.
Between 3 and 3:15 p.m., a thief stole property from an unlocked vehicle in the 6500 block of Inwood Road.
2 THURSDAY
Between 10:30 p.m. on July 1 and 6 a.m. on July 2, a thief stole property from a vehicle at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Sherwood Forest Drive.
Between 1 and 10 p.m., a thief stole property from an unlocked vehicle at Panera in the 7800 block of Park Lane.
Between 8:30 and 11:20 p.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle at Jesuit College Preparatory School and stole property.
3 FRIDAY
Between 5 p.m. on July 2 and 7:30 a.m. on July 3, a burglar broke into a vehicle in the 9100 block of Villa Park Circle and stole property.
4 SATURDAY
At 4:10 p.m., a shoplifter stole property from Nordstrom at NorthPark Center. Elbert Wayne Stephenson, 59, was arrested on a theft charge.
Between 5:30 and 6 p.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle at NorthPark Center and stole property.
Between 10 and 11 p.m., a vandal damaged a vehicle at Preston Valley Shopping Center in the 12800 block of Preston Road.
