Tang to Lead March of Dimes Chapter
The March of Dimes Texas Chapter has selected Preston Hollow resident and longtime volunteer Charmaine Tang to lead the Dallas Division, which supports eight North Texas counties.
As executive director, Tang will supervise the staff and board, manage volunteer engagement, and oversee fundraising and community programs.
Tang has a history with March of Dimes; she began volunteering when she was 14. But nine years ago, her son, Tyler, was born prematurely with life-threatening health issues. Her family formed Team Tang-O in his honor, which has raised $150,000 for the charity.
Tang is also the co-owner of Kidville Dallas, a co-founder of the Kids Against Hunger Council for the North Texas Food Bank, and a volunteer at the Lamplighter School, where her children are students. She was previously an equity research analyst at Citi Investment Research.
