HPHS Shooting Team Targets Fundraiser
The Highland Park High School competitive target team is one of the newest clubs on campus, and it wants to raise funds to help it grow. So how does it accomplish this? With a shootout, of course.
The club’s inaugural Spring Shootout fundraiser at 9 a.m. Saturday at Elm Fork Shooting Range in Dallas. The event will include up to 12 teams of four people each shooting clay targets. Registration is $500 per team, which includes lunch. For registration information, email ashike@hotmail.com.
Ha! I was on the HPHS rifle team in 1963 & 1964. Everything old is new again. I always wondered what the school did with the old rifle range in the basement.
