HP Will Face Tough Task in Rockwall

After sweeping Irving in its playoff debut over the weekend, Highland Park will meet Rockwall in the area round of the Class 6A Region II softball playoffs.

The best-of-three series starts at 7 p.m. Thursday in Rockwall, with the second game at 7 p.m. Friday at HPHS. The Lady Scots also will host a third game, if necessary, at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Lady Jackets are unbeaten this season and didn’t allow a run during a bi-district sweep of Killeen Ellison. We’ll have a more detailed breakdown of the matchup later this week.
