Lee Cullum Hosts Panel at Meadows Museum
Legendary Dallas journalist and host of KERA’s CEO, Lee Cullum (on whom I’m the first to admit I have a girl-crush), will be moderating a free panel discussion at the Meadows Museum at SMU tomorrow from 2-4 p.m.
The panel is full of folks who’ve been instrumental to the growth of the museum over its 50-year history. Panelists include: Founding director William B. Jordan (1967-1981); former directors Irene Martin and John Lunsford; adjunct curator Pamela Patton (1994-2000); Mark Roglán, a former curator and the current Linda P. and William A. Custard director; and museum founder Algur Meadows’ son Robert Meadows.
Panelists will discuss the history of the museum, how it relates to SMU, and the role it plays in the larger Dallas art scene. Priority seating for members begins at 1:40 p.m. in the Bob and Jean Smith Auditorium. You can watch it live here.
[Editor’s Note: The Meadows’ ad in our May edition, on stands now, incorrectly stated that the panel was on Sunday, not Saturday. IT IS SATURDAY!]
