Jordan Spieth Masters the Masters
It’s been common to call Jordan Spieth a future superstar in the professional golf ranks. After this weekend, it’s clear that the future is now.
Spieth, a Preston Hollow native and former Jesuit standout, won his first major tournament on Sunday in dominating fashion at the Masters, and he broke a few records in the process.
Spieth’s four-shot win (at an incredible 18-under par) was the first wire-to-wire championship at the storied tournament in almost three decades — that’s well before the 21-year-old Spieth was ever born. It’s almost certain that his first major title won’t be his last.
