Fifty Years Later, Meat Loaf Returns to TJHS
There’s a nice profile piece today from Robert Wilonsky at The Dallas Morning News about Meat Loaf, a fellow Thomas Jefferson High School grad who is returning to the school today for a distinguished alumni recognition ceremony.
During his homecoming 50 years later, hopefully a handful of the current students will be familiar with his many accomplishments in music and acting.
At any rate, the story offers tidbits about his football exploits at TJ, how he acquired his most unique name, and why he decided to leave Dallas after his mother died. It’s worth a read.
