HP Siblings Win Regional Polo Crown

The high school team at Prestonwood Polo Club, led by Highland Park resident Vaughn Miller Jr., won the title at the recent USPA Central Regional Championship tournament in Houston.

Miller scored 21 goals in the tournament, during which Prestonwood won both of its matches by a combined score of 33-13. Miller was joined on the team by his younger brother, Vance Miller III, and Ronnie Puente of Little Elm.

It marked the third straight regional crown for Prestonwood, which advanced to the finals of the National High School Open tournament on March 13-15 in Houston to play teams from Maryland, California, and Canada.
