HIGHLAND PARK

29 THURSDAY
Between 2 p.m. on Jan. 27 and 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 29, a thief entered an unlocked black 2010 Land Rover in the 3600 block of Harvard Avenue and stole the keys from the console and a $300 gate opener.

1 SUNDAY
At 1:46 a.m., Peter Anthony Cortez, 27, of Dallas was arrested in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

At 10 p.m., Jennifer Doolan Petty, 39, of University Park was arrested in the 5400 block of Douglas Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

UNIVERSITY PARK

26 MONDAY
At 2:58 p.m., a resident of the 4500 block of Glenwick Lanereported the theft in September 2014 of a $5,000 Rolex Datejust watch, a $1,390 Baume & Mercier watch, and a $1,200 Mission Craze compound bow.

Between 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 and 8 p.m. on Jan. 26, a thief stole a $10,000 wedding ring from a house in the 4100 block of Stanford Avenue.

27 TUESDAY
At 10:20 p.m., Brennan Scott Clay, 23, of Norman, Okla., was arrested in the 4100 block of Hyer Street on an assault charge following a domestic dispute.

28 WEDNESDAY
Between 7 and 8:30 p.m., a burglar broke into a 2007 BMW atHighland Park Middle School and stole a $200 Louis Vuitton wallet containing $1,000 in cash.

29 THURSDAY
At 2:05 a.m., Connor Jeffrey Cole, 21, of Dallas was arrested in the6500 block of Durham Street on a public intoxication charge.

30 FRIDAY
At 10:15 a.m., Stoyan Kalinov Anastassov, 39, of University Park was arrested in the 3400 block of Daniel Avenue on a charge of indecency with a child. About two weeks earlier, a girl reported a series of incidents involving her private tennis instructor.

1 SUNDAY
Between 7 p.m. on Jan. 31 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 1, a thief stole a maroon 2000 Ford Expedition, valued at $3,000, from a carport in the 4500 block of Emerson Avenue.
