“Love and Logic” Co-Author Visits Lamplighter School
Parents of students at The Lamplighter School were treated to the parenting philosophy of Dr. Jim Fay on Monday night as part of the school’s Dolores Evans Speaker Series.
Fay is the co-author of “Love and Logic,” a book that focuses on teaching kids responsibility through a specific approach to parenting.
His background in education helped him create a strategy based around calm, loving reactions to a child’s misbehavior.
Fay’s presentation was coupled with another appearance on Tuesday through the school’s Parenting Perks education series.
“It is our hope that these Parent Perks discussions will assist us in the important role of supporting the development of each student,” said Dr. Joan Hill, Lamplighter Head of School.
