Olympian to Host Free Youth Track Clinic
Olympic gold medalist Natasha Hastings will visit Hillcrest High School on Saturday to host a free clinic for aspiring track stars.
The Dallas Elite Youth Track and Field Clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and it’s free for athletes ages eight to 18. Hastings also will sign autographs. To register, email qervin_dallaselite@yahoo.com.
Hastings, a New York native, won a gold medal for the United States at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where she was part of the women’s 4×400 relay team. She has also won four world championships, and is hoping to return to the Olympics in 2016 in Brazil.
